Review: Crystal Spring Salt Of The Earth Deodorant.

I’m always looking for alternative beauty products that are free from harsh chemicals and not tested on animals. So when I saw the natural deodorant that was available from Salt Of The Earth I knew I had to try it.

Crystal Spring a UK based company sent me the unscented unisex deodorant along with the cooling menthol foot spray.

As I’ve been doing 10 mile runs in practice for my half marathon, the foot deodorant has come in really handy. It smells like peppermint and is really refreshing to use before exercise. It’s not something I would have considered using before, but since using it it has been really helpful and leaves my trainers smelling fresh! It contains aloe vera, willow bark and radish root and does last about hour or so after intense exercise. I imagine it would be more long lasting if you weren’t having a session at the gym and just using it for general everyday purpose. My partner Jamie has found it a convenient product as his job is really physical so his feet sweat a lot! (Gross).

The natural deodorant is something I have been looking for as I’ve found a lot of deodorants leave white marks, feel sticky, smell rather intense and are quite heavy on the skin.

It is a perfect size, easy to apply, doesn’t leak or drip and is everything you want in a natural deodorant. The only downside to this product is that you do have to keep reapplying throughout the day regardless of how much or little you sweat.

The best thing about both these products is that they are 100% natural, not tested on animals, suitable for vegans, leave no white marks and are free from parabens.

The company has won many awards for it’s natural products and I would definitely recommend their products. Out of the two the Foot spray is my favourite and in my opinion is a gym bag must have.

Buy them here.

Thanks for reading!
